Daraja Children’s Choir

Tonight we have guests coming…

Four people that call Africa home will call our house home for the next couple of days.

Here is a little info on who The Daraja Children’s Choir are:

Daraja means “bridge” in Swahili, and these 24 orphaned and vulnerable children have journeyed across the bridge all the way from Kenya to bring you a taste of African worship and praise. The Choir wishes to inspire you with the hope and love they have found in Jesus Christ, in spite of the severe hardships they have faced. Their performances are a blend of traditional African song and dance and contemporary Christian music, which shares that hope in a unique and powerful way.

It is awesome to hear about their lives but to spend time with them in our house to build relationships is an amazing opportunity, especially after Kelly and Kasey were able to experience a mission trip to Kenya last Summer.

They will be here today through Thursday and I can’t wait to share some stories that I hear from them.
